Someone who loves to look at (and make) beautiful food, especially delectable cakes/pastries. My hub and sister always complain i make people obese n fat. Well i can't help it! I started this baking hobby when i was very young, inspired by the local talents around me who are none other than my own mom and aunties. I used to think i inherited this interest, that seems like a genetic heritage running in the family. Of coz, no doubt n undeniably, i'm nothing in comparison to these seniors of mine who not only can make better luscious treats than i do, but also cook scrumptious meals.
My interest turned prevalent when i wen to the UK to pursue my degree. Surrounded by sisters in Church i was further inspired to put creativity into actions. This goes on till today, i can't stop baking ever since.
My interpretation of a good cake is one that has been designed and made with love out of fresh, properly extracted ingredients for the person who'll be eating it. It should be wisely aimed with creativity, stroked with the rightful skill, up to or beyond standards of recipe, beaten and baked/cooked at the right measurable time to bring out that immense taste n flavour so good it can melt the person's heart. I'm talking too big, LOL, to put in simple words, practice makes perfect. One must understand the principles of baking or cooking, why am I doing this, for what purpose, for who, etc and most importantly you got to love what you are doing! I am learning this myself. I'm not born talented, nor am i a genius in this. I had spent tireless, sleepless nights by myself in the kitchen working out the trials n errors, dealt with many failures, and studied many countless recipes to master just one skill!
Maybe you wonder, y the name Passion-Joyous? It represents me! I sense this strong passion and indescribable joy whenever I am making sth in the kitchen. It is not measurable, it is my passion and interest, and an act of love. Yes, to me, it's not the taste that counts so much, it is the hidden love in that cake. Same goes with cookies, bread or pastries, or a dish of spaghetti bolognaise!

Last but not least, this blog was started to recollect and remember every item i have so cheerfully and carefully made, every journey i had taken in this life, and every season i have been through. I thank God for my hub, family and friends who have and always willing to be my 'guinea pigs' (ya, although they complain i made them FAT :-P) , and who gave me their countless support, love and encouragement to walk this journey of life with a 'weird' hobby. You guys *Rocks*, n I LOVE you heaps!
