Macadamia Fever Kicking in
Hubby is back to work today after a week CNY hol, and i got myself back into the baking business. 'Resume to work' as how dad in law puts it. Hehe.
Got 8kgs of macadamia nut from the market few weeks ago for CNY and my visiting aunt. Didn't finish/give away everything, i cracked a few out for some cookie treats today.
Would prefer them with pure white chocolate chunks, however chocolates are super dear here, especially the milky white ones, so baked them with the black and white chips i brought over from KK instead.
Not as nice as i had hoped, think it's due to the flour (having a great flour problem here), but the sweetness is just right to my liking. I had reduced the amount of sugar by half, as the chips are sweet by itself.
